What is social fitness? Simply put, social fitness is the joining of your social life with active fitness goals. Though this is not a novel concept and companies like Lululemon have been successful in building out this idea in Web2, there are no successful ambassadors of social fitness in Web3. Gritti seeks to change that.

And how will Gritti do so?

It begins with our omnichannel user acquisition strategy which looks past just the crypto natives - expanding our reach in order to bring real user diversity to our ecosystem.

Then, creating communities through the use of group-based gameplay. Game modes such as Stake Run, Glocal Hero, and Influencer War are all examples of how Gritti brings running from a solo activity to a group activity. The social element greatly increases the amount of motivation for individual runners. It’s much easier to get up for that 5am run when you have your teammates encouraging you to complete your goals - no matter where they are around the world.

In the future we expect to see more functionalities built around the concept of Runner Groups, and to bring about the spirit of co-opetition within each and every one of our users to further encourage the spirit of social fitness.
