Sneaker Minting

Sneaker Minting occurs either through utilizing two pairs of Sneaker NFTs (“Parent Sneakers”), or when a user assembles a Sneaker NFT by using required Sneaker Components. After a successful mint/build, the user will receive a Shoebox which can then be opened to receive the new Sneaker NFT.

(Under Development) During Sneaker Minting, there is a chance of failure in which tokens used are burned but no Shoebox is provided.

Users can also purchase Shoeboxes in the marketplace to mint new Sneaker NFTs.

  1. Level Requirement: both Parent Sneakers need be at or above level 5. In order to upgrade a Sneaker NFT to level 5, you need to have run with the Sneaker NFT for more than [5km]

  2. No. of mints per Sneaker NFT: a maximum of 10 times. The higher the minting counter, the more GRI it will cost to mint

  3. Mint costs calculation: minting costs are calculated by adding the individual minting costs of both Parent Sneakers; higher rarity Sneaker NFTs also cost more to mint but will provide a much better chance of getting high rarity sneakers (for details please see Dynamic Minting Costs.

  4. Cool down: There will be a 48 hour cool-down period for both Parent Sneakers after minting.
